Meke are coffee perverts and their passion for roasting coffee beans has transformed the café culture on the island. Freshly ground beans are available at most ecological stores and in all of the best restaurants and hotels. They have been instrumental in raising the standard of coffee on the island and their flagship café is the best coffee one can get on the island.
If you are looking for year-round dining, then you will be best to explore the many restaurants in Santa Eulalia. A gorgeous breakfast at Passion Café, where the focus is tasty, healthy ingredients packed with vegetarian and vegan that the hardiest carnivore will devour.
Capriccio is frontline and well-priced, proving to be a consistent favorite. Project Social in the port area has the kitchen open at breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves among the best burgers on the island. Santa Eulalia has “restaurant street” which is a pedestrianized area with local and international cuisine. Restaurant Street is safe for kids and most restaurants open a bit earlier than the usual 1900 dining. Plaza des Canó, Canon Square, is close to the promenade and has fountains and a playground for kids to play whilst adults supervise over a jug of sangria and plate of Bellota ham.
Higher end options would include the roof top terrace at Aguas de Ibiza, W Hotel or Me by Melia Hotel. Me Hotel is our preferred hotel recommendation in the Santa Eulalia area, and we can help with day passes, events and reservations. CBBC and Estel are excellent seafood restaurants with stunning views.
Pan d’Or bakery is a must visit and their contemporary baking makes for a welcomed change from the traditional breads and pastries found in Santa Eulalia. Whether you like it savory or sweet, Lush recommends you just order two of everything. A good idea is to take their number and order a day in advance as the pastries and sourdoughs are divine and fly off the shelf.
