Cova Santa is owned by the Amnesia group and has recently grown in popularity due to its diverse offering of day parties and night events. The venue is set around an ancient cave (hence the Cova) and this historic underpinning creates a connectivity with party goers looking for a more spiritual hedonism.
With success stories like Woomoon and Storytellers they venue is run with an acute attention to detail in the decor which is not lost on its punters. Cova Santa has carved a niche for open-air partying with events starting in the late afternoon before wrapping up around midnight.
The legendary DC10 is a throwback to old school clubbing where punters mix together, and music is the most important ingredient. The vibe is techno and crowd know what they are doing. Perhaps not a club if you are testing the waters. DC10 is a short taxi ride from Sa Carroca and villas in the hills around KM5.
Club de Campo is a popular sports club offering Padel and Tennis Courts. Padel Courts are increasingly in demand, however there are not a lot of properties offering these amenities so Club de Campo is a solid alternative. For those families staying for a longer duration, Club de Campo offers Summer School for the kids although this can be booked out early, so it is best to plan.
Vino & Co is worth a visit. Jeroen and his family are hospitable and welcoming. They have curated a refined selection of wines from boutique producers and bodegas. Jeroen is a sommelier with a beaming smile that will introduce you to the perfect wine to pair with your Ibiza holiday.
In the foothills above Sa Carroca there are trails and paths which are best explored with guides from the eBikes club or when the temperature permits by running or hiking.
The San Jordi market is held in the Hippodrome racetrack. These days it hosts more hippies than horses. Every Saturday this empty space is bustling with life and curiosities, and that’s just those running the stalls. In the winter, it is a reassuring constant and opportunity to meet with friends, listen to live music, talk to interesting locals and bag a bargain.
